Bruce and Kathy have been married 47 years, have 3 adult children and 6 delightful grandchildren. Over the years, they have served together as missionaries overseas, church planters, and pastors​ in Burien before retiring. Bruce also co-founded Transform Burien, a local outreach for low-income families and the homeless. 

Hey there! I'm a part of the staff team here at Deeper Church. I have a passion for worship and love to connect with the Lord through music and art. Whether I’m serving at church or just hanging out with friends, my heart is to reflect God’s love and share His joy with those around me.

I grew up very shy and too afraid to share my faith with people, not knowing what to, not knowing how to start conversations, and filled with fear. Not only have I learned how to break through my walls, I love helping others to experience the same personal growth I had. We are going to have fun together while fulfilling the Great Commission.

Married for nearly 8 years to my best friend and mother of 2 (almost 3) beautiful girls, I’m so thankful to God for a full life. So blessed to support my husband in our business and the currently the majority of my time is filled with caring for our sweet daughters. I love trying new things, traveling, investing time into people, and learning ways to be more healthy.

Derien and Abi are the leaders of Youngish Adults. Derien was raised knowing the Lord, but radically sold out for a real relationship with Him, and hasn’t looked back! Abi was raised as a pastor’s kid, and has spent her life in ministry. Derien and Abi are both passionate about “burning the ships” in their lives to grow and move forward in life. They want to see a movement of the Lord, not just in the world, but in the hearts of individuals around them.

Tirzah is a native Washingtonian and Michael is from Kansas City, Missouri. Before meeting Tirzah, Michael worked at a theatre for six years. They have two boys, Caspian and Strider, and one dog named Yellow Dawg. They like movies, books, camping, and they love Jesus!

Corey and JJ are Burien natives and have been married 23 years and have three amazing children. They love playing board games, listening to Christian music, and gardening together. They enjoy hosting friends and neighbors and being part of a fun community.

Dale is the husband of Lydia and father of two adorable girls. He has been a Jesus follower since a young age and enjoys slack lining, rock climbing, running, music, and a whole host of eclectic hobbies he's collected over the years. 

We are going to get down to business and pray like never before and stir up a godly hunger for our church to impact this region statistically.

Burien and White Center is our local territory, our church, our county, our State, our Country and Israel.
